This Will Help Your Anxiety
This Will Help Your Anxiety
The next time you feel the weight of anxiety or fear pressing down on you, cling to this powerful verse:
Isaiah 41:10 (KJV) says,
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
In this verse, God is speaking to the people of Israel, who were surrounded by threatening nations and filled with fear. He wanted to assure them that His promise to restore their nation was still secure. He says, "Fear not." Why? Because He is with them.
Then He says, "Be not dismayed." In other words, God is letting them know—He's in control. He continues by promising strength, help, and divine support: "I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." That phrase, "right hand," represents divine power—a strength only God can provide. He is the God who can turn the impossible into possible.
Today, we face difficulties that bring stress, anxiety, and sorrow. Sometimes, it feels like we’re trapped in a corner with no way out. In those moments, remember this: Fear and anxiety are not from God. They are weapons that Satan uses to distract you, to shake your faith, and to pull you away from your walk with the Lord.
And it’s okay to admit that you can’t do it on your own. The first step to peace is realizing that you need God to carry you through the fear, the stress, and the worry. Know this: God is in control. He will give you strength, help, and everything you need to keep going.
So, how can you be free from anxiety and fear?
The key word is: TRUST.
Trust that the Lord will bring you through the fire, even when it seems impossible.
Have faith that He will carry you, even when you can’t see a way out.
Think for a moment about all major problems you've faced in your life. Guess what? You're still here—and God got you through them right?
When it feels like the whole world is against you, Jesus is right there with you. He promised, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
So next time you feel overwhelmed, like you just can’t make it through, it’s okay to say, “God, I can’t do this.”
In that moment, surrender it all to Him. He will uphold you and give you the strength you’ve been searching for.Take a breath. Trust God. He will see you through. If God is with us, Who can be against us?I hope this encourages you today.
God bless!
