So What About Your Past?
So what about your past!
There are times in our lives when we feel washed up.
Done.
Too far gone. Maybe that’s you right now.
But hear this: no one is ever too far gone With God.
You see, God can use anyone who is willing to turn their heart toward Him.
We see this all through Scripture.
Jonah ran the wrong way — God still led him.
Moses killed a man — God still used him.
Peter denied Jesus three times — God still restored him.
If God can transform those lives for His glory, He can handle the accusations in your head saying, “You can’t do anything because of your past.”
Do you know what “accuser” means in Hebrew?
Sha-tahn — Satan. Or what it's transliterated into english… Satan.
That’s the enemy’s tactic is this: to keep you focused on who you were so you never step into who God is calling you to be.
How do we combat satan planting those thoughts in our head? We fight those thoughts with Scripture.
Second Corinthians 12:9 says,
“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Our mistakes become places where God’s power shows up.
And if you’ve given your life to Christ, your past is not just forgiven — it’s erased.
Isaiah 43:25 says,
“I… blot out thy transgressions… and will not remember thy sins.”
People may accuse you.
Let them live in your past.
You move toward God.
So get up.
Get moving.
And let today be the day you walk free from your past and live for Him. GOD BLESS
