Invite God in Everything You Do
If you truly want God to direct your life, you need to invite Him into everything you do. Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” It doesn’t say “some of thy ways”—it says all.
One place people often overlook is their work. If you run a business or serve customers, invite God into those moments the same way you would in church. Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt.” Let your words, attitude, and decisions reflect Christ. Pray about how you handle people, plans, and opportunities, and let Scripture shape how you lead and serve.
Remember, we are not defined by what we do, but by who we belong to. Our identity is in Christ first. We are Christians at all times—not just on Sundays.
Invite God into the little things too: your hobbies, music, sports, and the things you enjoy. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” Nothing is too big or too small for Him—even the everyday moments.
So here’s my challenge to you.
Find a way to invite God into your workplace, hobbies and anything and everything in between. If there’s anything i want you remember from this devotional remember this, if you invite God into the Ordinary, You’ll watch him make your life extraordinary. Don’t make God a moment, make him your movement. Hope this helps, God Bless.
