Be an Encourager!

God wants you to be an encouragement. It's time for us a christians to lift each other up instead of slamming each other down.  First Thessalonians 5:11 says  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. Paul writes to the Church members in Thessalonica to build each other up not just with words, but with action and faith. The word “edify” comes from the original Greek word oikodomeó Which means “to build up.” 

Just like the verse says, we should have the desire to edify one another to strengthen our faith. Not just with words, but with action. Serving others, meeting peoples needs, giving generously are all good ways to be an encouragement.  A

s you go through your day, stop and ask God to use you as a vessel to spread encouragement to those around you. Remember we're hear to spread the gospel of Jesus christ and the best way to do that is through action of encouragement. That little bit of encouragement may be a seed planted for them to Come to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God Bless
