Number Two: He will condemn you.
Romans 8:1 says,
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
If you’re in Christ, you are not condemned—you are forgiven! God forgives your sins solely through the work Jesus did on the cross. The devil doesn’t want you to believe this and will constantly make you doubt the truth that you are now holy in God’s presence. By nature, our flesh is weak, and we will fall, but we must be secure in the truth that we are not condemned when we fall. Satan wants you to doubt, hoping to break your trust in God and fill you with shame, making you think you will never please Him. This can lead you to embrace sin with the thought, “Why try if I can’t win?” Don’t let the devil win! Get up, know you are still right in the eyes of God, and continue your relationship with the One who can give you victory!
